Together, we build clarity, balance, self-trust, and environments where different ways of thinking and being are not just accepted — but valued.

Laura and Keith

“Over the past several years, Laura has worked closely with our son, who has dyslexia, and her impact has been nothing short of remarkable. From the very beginning, she demonstrated not only a deep understanding of learning differences, but also an exceptional ability to connect with our son on a personal level. She created a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment that allowed him to build confidence in himself while making meaningful academic progress.

What sets Laura apart is her dedication and genuine passion for helping children succeed. She consistently went above and beyond adapting her teaching strategies to meet our son’s specific needs, celebrating his successes, and helping him work through challenges without frustration or discouragement. Because of her, we have seen tremendous growth not only in his reading and academic skills, but also in his self-esteem.

Equally important, Laura has been an incredible resource for our family. She communicates clearly, listens thoughtfully, and provides guidance that is both practical and compassionate. Her ability to understand the complexities of learning differences and explain them in a way that empowers parents is invaluable.

I have no doubt that she will make an outstanding advocate for other families. She brings the perfect combination of knowledge, empathy, persistence, and professionalism that is so critical when supporting children with special educational needs. Families will benefit greatly from her ability to both support and advocate effectively within the educational system.

We wholeheartedly recommend Laura and am confident she will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many children and families.”

“Laura has been an incredibly special part of my daughter’s life for almost two years, and my daughter truly adores her. She has played a key role in helping her grow academically while also building confidence in subjects that once felt challenging. As a parent, I have always appreciated how proactive Laura is, she consistently puts my mind at ease by sharing thoughtful feedback on how sessions are going and offering helpful suggestions for what we can work on at home. She brings deep experience working with children, and I genuinely trust her perspective and guidance. Most importantly, she keeps learning fun, positive, and warm, and my daughter truly looks forward to every session with her.”

“Working with Laura has made a real difference for both of my boys and for our family. We initially came to her for academic support, but what she provides goes well beyond tutoring.

She takes the time to understand each child, how they learn, what they need, and what helps them feel successful. Because of that, my boys have grown not just academically, but in their confidence and willingness to work through challenges. You can see the difference, they ask more questions, stick with things longer, and believe in themselves more.

Laura also supports the whole family. She’s given me practical strategies I can actually use at home and has helped us think through school situations and next steps in a way that feels thoughtful and grounded.

What feels most different now is the confidence my boys have and how they approach learning. And as a parent, I feel equipped and supported.

Laura is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She truly cares about the children and families she works with, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend her to any family looking for support that goes beyond academics.”

Lauren Jackson

Laura has been tutoring my 8 year-old daughter for all of second grade and is fantastic, not only at the substance part of learning, but also at helping my daughter identify her strengths and passions.

Laura is especially talented at seeing where a child excels and fostering an excitement for that particular area of learning. For example, one day at the end of the tutoring session, my daughter had made a drawing on the whiteboard that looked like a sign for a business. Laura asked her if she knew that making signs like that is a job she could do when she grows up. My daughter asked if Laura meant putting up the signs, and Laura explained that she could be the person who creates the design of the sign and how it looks. I could see the wheels turning in my daughter’s mind and was impressed by how Laura took that moment to inspire a new interest in my daughter.

This is one example of many I could cite when Laura got my child excited about something new.

Laura’s compassion for kids, her ability to meet them where they are and inspire their imagination is a gift.

I truly believe it is her calling to help kids identify their gifts and passions and figure out how to utilize them in life.
