About Laura Massarella
For nearly four decades, I’ve worked alongside children, families, and educators to build confidence, clarity, and connection. I help children understand how they learn, guide parents through school processes, and support teachers in creating balanced, effective classrooms.
Strong connections between home and school help every child succeed.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Getting started is simple—reach out through the contact form to schedule a brief initial consultation where we will set the meeting time and location
-
We begin with an initial consultation, followed by a personalized plan tailored to the client’s needs. Ongoing sessions focus on self-awareness, as well as building and applying strategies, and adjusting goals as needed.
-
Sessions are tailored. We may work on immediate needs while also developing long-term strategies to build confidence, clarity or calm.
-
Rather than focusing on content, I help students develop the skills, habits, and strategies to allow them to succeed across all areas of learning as well as outside of school.
-
A consultation session typically lasts 55-60 minutes, depending. Sessions can be shorter, for instance, with a younger child, or an adult who desires a meeting but is short on time.
-
Depending on the circumstance, client sessions can be weekly, monthly, or based on need such as an upcoming 504 or IEP meeting.
-
Sessions are offered in-person, via Zoom, or by phone.
-
Fees vary depending on the type and length of service. Please contact me for current rates.
-
Yes. I offer packages designed to provide consistent support over time, at a value rate.
-
Progress is tracked through progress towards target behaviors/goals, client feedback, and observable improvements in reported issues, confidence, independence, or level of stress/anxiety.
What my clients are saying…
Laura and Keith
“Laura has worked closely with our son, who has dyslexia, and her impact has been nothing short of remarkable. From the very beginning, she demonstrated not only a deep understanding of learning differences, but also an exceptional ability to connect with our son on a personal level. She created a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment that allowed him to build confidence in himself while making meaningful academic progress.”
Jaclyn
“Laura supports the whole family. She’s given me practical strategies I can actually use at home and has helped us think through school situations and next steps in a way that feels thoughtful and grounded. What feels most different now is the confidence my boys have and how they approach learning. And as a parent, I feel equipped and supported.”
Lindsay A.
“Laura has been an incredibly special part of my daughter’s life for almost two years, and my daughter truly adores her. She has played a key role in helping her grow academically while also building confidence in subjects that once felt challenging.”
Lauren Jackson
“Laura’s compassion for kids, her ability to meet them where they are and inspire their imagination is a gift.”
